Being stupid

Do we really learn from our mistakes?

Even though you have been through the whole phase of doing something stupid and hurting yourself in the process, how do you make that mistake again. Seriously how? I fail to understand.

Why doesn’t the mind and heart work in sync? When your mind knows for sure what you doing or what you getting into is not right and it would be a huge mistake, then why the hell the heart fails to listen to the mind to stop you from doing something stupid.

And you repeat the mistake and end up getting hurt. Damn!!!

Maybe it’s because the heart wants it’s own way. Or because we are hopeful that “this time things will be different.” Some people are determined to get what they think they want and not let anyone or anything get in their way — they seem to have a high tolerance for pain. Just some things to think about. Have a good day! A.
