keep it simple

Don’t complicate simple things in life… not worth it!!!

Go with the flow… it never helps to sit and analyze every aspect of a situation or what people say or don’t say. You will end up with nothing but a headache and unnecessary thoughts.

Keep Smiling :-)

Who is the father?

According to Greek mythology Perseus; a demigod is the son of the Greek God Zeus. But in the movie Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lighting Thief he is the son of Poseidon. Even though the movie was based on today’s time, but how can they go wrong about who is the father of Perseus.

The funny thing is in the movie Clash Of The Titans he is the son of Zeus. And both these movies released almost the the same time. Given its supposedly “Greek Mythology” doesn’t mean you go wrong about someone’s father when you taking a movie :-)

Great weekend!!!

ManUtd made a killer win by scoring a goal in the last min… Chelsea lost to Spurs… Arsenal had a 2-0 lead but in the last 10 mins Wigan made an awesome comeback and won the game 3-0 :-)

The icing was to watch CSK’s win against KXIP… what a dramatic win :-) the last 2 overs kept you on the edge. At the time of pressure, Dhoni is the man. Finished the game with 2 kickass 6. But we wouldn’t have made it without Raina, Vijay’s share of runs specially Badrinath. He left the field with 43 runs which brought us close to the target. Finally Dhoni played like a star and took us to the semi finals.

My other favourite  team followed suit. They fought their way through by defeating the dare devils. So now its Deccan Chargers vs Chennai Super Kings. South Power!!! May the best team win…

Totally a KILLER weekend :-)

Who is more complicated?

Men Or Women???

Everyone thinks and assumes that women are the most complicated creatures, who walk the earth. But how far is it true?

I have seen more complicated men in my life, its not even funny. Women at some point can articulate what they are thinking and feeling, so it is out in the open for the other person to know. which gives an opportunity to discuss the same. But thats never the case when it comes to men.

Apart from being insensitive towards lot of things and lacking emotional attachment, there is a huge communication gap. They never open their mouth and say anything, specially when it is something important. And when you ask, we are made to look like we are incapable of understanding them. What logic, I fail to understand.

I do not claim women are less complicated. But I believe complicated or not it totally depends on the person. Their characteristic and personality make them what they are, and it has nothing to do with being a man or woman. So next time I hear someone say women are complicated people, I might lose it.

It will be greatly appreciated if people stopped generalizing but saying, women are complicated, women gossip, etc…

CSK vs MI

2008 IPL season 1, I went with friends to the stadium to watch Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians match in mumbai. The stadium was filled with almost 60k people and of which 99% was supporting MI. I was one of the few souls who was actually supporting CSK.

Every time I even made an attempt to cheer people who glare at me. My friends were like you stop it or someone is gonna beat you up :-) I was like what the hell, couldn’t even support my home team. And to top it we lost, but sometimes I think its a good thing we lost. Otherwise, doubt I would have gone home in one piece. Scary huh!

After a year’s wait I finally had my chance. Yesterday went to Chidambaram stadium to watch CSK vs MI. Firstly I think its an awesome feeling to be in the stadium, looking at the grass ground and watching players warming up :-) Then we managed to get good seats, which had a great view.

CSK started off really well, it was sooper fun to jump up and cheer for every run, 4s & 6s, to join the crowd in screaming player’s names and dancing to sivamani’s drums :-) after a while the wickets started to fall, thought they won’t even reach 130 but not bad they went up to 165.

MI came into the field to chase the target. The crowd went crazy when they saw Sachin – The God in the field, people actually forgot to cheer for CSK and everyone started chanting his name :-) Its such a high feeling to watch him play. I thought thats it we are gonna lose this game. But then he had to retire injure. But still it did not look like we had a chance. But in a while CSK made an awesome come back… wickets started to fall like crazy, we made some brilliant boundary catches. Specially the one Vijay caught. After some 6 wickets Sachin made a come back but then CSK got him out too :-)

Then few more overs and CSK won by 24 runs… Yippee!!! we jumped up and down like mad people :-) I don’t have much knowledge about the game but I sure knew it was a great game and total entertainment to watch… And nothing like watching it in the stadium. Loved the experience and din’t have to worry about people giving me killer looks.

Good luck to CSK for the next 4 games… Go CSK Go…

Vinnaithandi Varuvaya

The story line is like any other love story we have seen over time. But so far this is one of the best movie where a simple story is executed so well. Not a great fan of Gautam Menon but I have to give to him for this one.

Nice showcase of a new age couple. Right from they falling in love, dealing with the hurdles, working through the relationship and moving on to lead seperate lives. Awesome!!!

And icing on the cake is A R Rahman’s music. He totally makes you fall in love with his songs, and what a brilliant background score. Bow! Bow!

Watch It!!!
