Technology, boon or curse?

Not long ago if you have to reach someone, all you have to do is call them on their landline, they would either pick up or not, and if they didn’t, it only means that they are not around. But then came mobile phones, people had a choice, because they knew who was calling. Then, when a person doesn’t pick the call, it is followed by text message, Facebook post, Facebook messenger, WhatsApp, wechat, and other million ways to reach someone. And now there are notifications that say, if the person received and read your message. On god! Its exhausting! I wish we can go back to ‘Tring’ ‘Tring’ you pick up the call, and the rest is mystery. But having said that, even though technology helps you find multiple ways to reach someone, and when that someone is sitting right in front of you, people still choose to look at the phone screen.

We are all just robots without human interaction:/

Chinnanjiru Chinnanjiru Ragasiyamae

People say that a music or even a song can touch your soul, and I can actually believe that, every time I listen to this song. A.R. Rahman and Vairamuthu have done such a great job. Being a huge A.R Rahman fan, I usually find it difficult to pick a favourite, but some how this song managed to crawl into my heat, and runs on loop in my headčÖé

Fairy Godmother

We all grew up reading fairy tales and believing, that no matter how bad things are, there is always a fairy godmother who comes to our rescue, and grant all your wishes, then you meet you prince charming and live happily ever-after. But as you grow up and face the real world, you come to realise that life is no fairy tale, no fairy god mother or prince charming who will come and sweep you off your feet and ride towards the sunset. But after all that I have seen and been through, I have come to realise, I’m my own fairy godmother. I’m the only person who can grant my wishes and make my dreams come true. And I do not necessarily need a prince charming to make me happy or feel loved, because I have my share of great people in my life, who love and care about me. Even if my prince charming is out there, I don’t need him to define me. The way I live my life defines me, the way I treat people defines me, my education and career defines me. I’m not trying to sound feminist or anything, all I’m saying is, you have the power to write your own happy ending, do not wait for anyone or anything to do it for you.

keep it simple

Don’t complicate simple things in life… not worth it!!!

Go with the flow… it never helps to sit and analyze every aspect of a situation or what people say or don’t say. You will end up with nothing but a headache and unnecessary thoughts.

Keep SmilingčÖé

Who is the father?

According to Greek mythology Perseus; a demigod is the son of the Greek God Zeus. But in the movie┬áPercy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lighting Thief he is the son of┬áPoseidon. Even though the movie was based on today’s time, but how can they go wrong about who is the father of Perseus.

The funny thing is in the movie┬áClash Of The Titans he is the son of Zeus. And both these movies released almost the the same time. Given its supposedly “Greek Mythology” doesn’t mean you go wrong about someone’s father when you taking a moviečÖé
